“Tisse yuñjassu dhammehi,

Tissā, apply yourself to good qualities—

khaṇo taṁ mā upaccagā;

don’t let the moment pass you by.

Khaṇātītā hi socanti,

For if you miss your moment,

nirayamhi samappitā”ti.

you’ll grieve when sent to hell.
