“Upasame tare oghaṁ,

Upasamā, cross the flood,

maccudheyyaṁ suduttaraṁ;

Death’s dominion so hard to pass.

1.3

Dhārehi antimaṁ dehaṁ,

When you have vanquished Māra and his legions,

1.4

jetvā māraṁ savāhinin”ti.

bear your final body.
