“Yaṁ mayā pakataṁ kammaṁ,

Any deeds I have done,

appaṁ vā yadi vā bahuṁ;

a little or a lot,

Sabbametaṁ parikkhīṇaṁ,

are all completely exhausted:

natthi dāni punabbhavo”ti.

now there’ll be no more future lives.

Vacchapālo ca yo thero,
