“Yo sītavanaṁ upagā bhikkhu,

The monk who went to the Cool Grove is solitary,

Eko santusito samāhitatto;

content and serene,

1.3

Vijitāvī apetalomahaṁso,

victorious, with goosebumps vanished,

1.4

Rakkhaṁ kāyagatāsatiṁ dhitimā”ti.

guarding mindfulness of the body, steadfast.

Itthaṁ sudaṁ āyasmā sītavaniyo thero gāthaṁ abhāsitthāti.

That is how this verse was recited by the senior venerable Sītavaniya.
