“Saddhāyāhaṁ pabbajito,

I went forth out of faith

1.2

Agārasmānagāriyaṁ;

from the lay life to homelessness.

1.3

Sati paññā ca me vuḍḍhā,

My mindfulness and wisdom have grown,

1.4

Cittañca susamāhitaṁ;

my mind is serene.

1.5

Kāmaṁ karassu rūpāni,

Make whatever illusions you want,

1.6

Neva maṁ byādhayissasī”ti.

it doesn’t bother me.
