“Chaphassāyatane hitvā,

I’ve given up the six spheres of sense-contact,

guttadvāro susaṁvuto;

my sense doors are guarded and well restrained;

Aghamūlaṁ vamitvāna,

I’ve ejected the root of gloom

patto me āsavakkhayo”ti.

and attained the ending of defilements.
