“Uttamaṅgaruhā mayhaṁ,

Growing on top of my head,

ime jātā vayoharā;

these thieves of life have sprouted.

Pātubhūtā devadūtā,

Messengers of the gods have appeared—

pabbajjāsamayo mamā”ti.

it is time for me to go forth.
