Mā su nandi icchati maṁ,

Do not rejoice, “She loves me,”

mā su soci na micchati;

nor lament, “She loves me not.”

Thīnaṁ bhāvo durājāno,

The mood of women is hard to understand,

macchassevodake gatan”ti.

like the track of fish in water.
