“Āsīsetheva puriso,

A man should have hope,

na nibbindeyya paṇḍito;

the astute should not be disillusioned.

Passāmi vohaṁ attānaṁ,

Now I truly see myself—

yathā icchiṁ tathā ahū”ti.

as I wished, so I became.
