“Kulāvakā mātali simbalismiṁ,

Mātali, don’t ram the bird nests

Īsāmukhena parivajjayassu;

in the red silk-cotton woods with your draft-pole.

Kāmaṁ cajāma asuresu pāṇaṁ,

I’d rather give up our lives to the titans

Māme dijā vikkulāvā ahesun”ti.
