Stories of Past Lives 17 The Book of the Ones Ethics Gales: a past life story

“Kāḷe vā yadi vā juṇhe,

Whether the moon is waning or waxing,

yadā vāyati māluto;

it is cool when the gale blows.

Vātajāni hi sītāni,

Since the wind brings the cool,

ubhotthamaparājitā”ti.

both are undefeated in this instance.
