Numbered Discourses 3.136 14. A Warrior Arising (AN3.136)

“Uppādā vā, bhikkhave, tathāgatānaṁ anuppādā vā tathāgatānaṁ, ṭhitāva sā dhātu dhammaṭṭhitatā dhammaniyāmatā.

“Mendicants, whether Realized Ones arise or not, this law of nature persists, this regularity of natural principles, this surety of natural principles:

Sabbe saṅkhārā aniccā.

all conditions are impermanent.

Taṁ tathāgato abhisambujjhati abhisameti.

A Realized One awakens to this and comprehends it,

Abhisambujjhitvā abhisametvā ācikkhati deseti paññāpeti paṭṭhapeti vivarati vibhajati uttānīkaroti:

then he explains, teaches, asserts, establishes, clarifies, analyzes, and discloses it:

‘sabbe saṅkhārā aniccā’ti.

‘All conditions are impermanent.’
